The Company The Lightin up company is one of The Lightin up Company has been in the film business
for over 15 years and we have successfully provided equipment and
service to several of New Zealand's largest Lighting projects and are
involved in the International and local Drama market on an on going
basis. We are presently operating in Queenstown on seasonal
requirements, with a

well as having several of the countries leading Gaffers who have a
preference to use the Lightin-up company for supply of equipment and
services. With the other three permanent staff covering areas of office
management and pricing, workshop maintenance and the assembling of
equipment kits, repairs and custom builds for special requirements
most areas of lighting production needs are catered too in house. A snap

Lightin up Company prevailed against international lighting supply
companies in securing this contract. The wisdom of choosing a local
supplier became very evident early on in production , schedule
changes, Weather, additional short term requirements for the shoot
together with our local knowledge and readily available inventory
proved to be an asset. Production
was scaled up from a location based HMI package to a customized fully
rigged, dimmable studio package which included a unique portable 400amp
distribution system. This ultimately allowed flexibility in
production enabling to shoot virtually anywhere at any time. The
